James Timothy “Bo” Hobby, Sr., 60, husband of Vickie Phillips Hobby of 103 McCoy St., Belton, SC, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of Ellen Louise Griffin Hobby and the late John Lee Hobby. He was an electrician and was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 36 years are: sons, Jeremy Smith of Georgia and Tim Hobby Jr. (Tabatha) of Belton; daughter, Holly King (Adam) of Belton; brother, David Hobby (Jamie) of Abbeville; sisters, Thelma Calvert (Wilbur) of Belton and Kathy Koch (Rod) of Pendleton; 6 grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces and his beloved dog.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joannie Hobby.
Graveside service will be held 3pm Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service Friday at the cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
