Clark Stephen Brooks

Clark Stephen Brooks, 60, of Honea Path died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Omaha, NE, he was the son of the late J.B. and Dolores Norwood Brooks. He graduated in the BHP class of 1976 and was of Baptist faith.

Surviving are: daughter, Amy Brooks Simpson (Dury) of Williamston; brother, Douglas W. Brooks (Laura) of York, SC; sister, Lisa Brooks Mattison (Scott) of Belton; granddaughters, Taylor and Carter Simpson; nephew, Drew Brooks (Abbey) of Durham, NC; niece, Samantha Whiten (Dustin) of Destin, FL; girlfriend, Deborah Yon of Honea Path.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Brooks.

Graveside service will be held 2pm Wednesday at Belton Cemetery with Pastor Mark Krieger officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 12pm until 1:30pm at Cox Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Amy Simpson.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
