Gennell Margaret (Reeves) Strickland

Gennell Margaret Reeves Strickland, 93, widow of Douglas Keith Strickland and longtime resident of Belton, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Anderson.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Fronnie Williams Reeves. She was retired from textiles and was of Baptist faith.

Surviving are: son, Frank Strickland (Michele) of Seneca; sisters, Bobbie Reeves Crawford and Mary Elizabeth Reeves Campbell both of Anderson, Sybil Reeves Lenko of New York; granddaughter, Leah Niccole Strickland of Seneca.

She was preceded in death by: brothers, Charles Milton, Donald Garland, William Doyle, and James Lee Reeves; sister, Rebecca Reeves.

Graveside service will be held 3pm Friday at Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
