Jimmy Dale Motes, 58, of Hodges, SC, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Willie and Carrie Gunnels Motes. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church.

Surviving are: sons, Kyle Motes of Greenville and John-Michael Motes of Belton; daughters, Jessica Horton (Zachary) and Brooke Motes all of Belton; brother, Woodrow Motes of Hodges; grandchildren, Kylee Alexander and Caidence Horton; girlfriend, Sonya Ritchie of Hodges.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6pm until 8pm at Cox Funeral Home.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
