Ruth (Davis) Wilson

Ruth D. Wilson, 93, widow of John David “JD” Wilson, formerly of Belton, resident of Brookdale – Anderson, died Monday July 1, 2019 at Brookdale.

Born in Pelzer, SC, on January 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Alverson Davis. She was a member of Belton Presbyterian Church. Retired from the Anderson County Health Department.

Survived by a son, Mike Wilson (Lita) of Belton; daughter, Barbara Blasko (Jim) of Blackshear, GA.; daughter-in-law, Barbara Wilson of Anderson;  grandchildren, Jerri Lynn Gray, Trent Wilson, Christian Blasko, and Nicholas Blasko; great grandchildren, Jeremy Gray and Jacob Fields.

She was preceded in death by two sons Larry and Ronald Wilson; brothers James and Charles Davis, and sisters Vera Gilbert and Marion Sims.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Dave Neal officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
