Acey T. (T-Bone) Watson, 70, husband of Carolyn Owens Watson of Belton, died Sunday May 28, 2023, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Acey G. and Esther Green Watson. He was an active member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He retired with 21 years of service in the SC Army National Guard and retired from Michelin with 36 years of service.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 46 years, son John Watson and wife Stacy, daughter Katie Watson Burgess and husband Chris, grandchildren Chip Burgess (Fiancé Jessica), Carter Burgess, Logan Hawkins and Madison Watson.
He was preceded in death by parents and brother Lamar Watson.
Services will be held at 12 pm Wednesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dickerson officiating. The burial will follow at Dolly Cooper at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:45 at the church.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
The family is at the residence.
