Addie Jean Timms Hedgepath, 93, widow of the late Colie Webster Hedgepath, resident of River Street, entered into rest Thursday September 21, 2023 at her residence. She is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born on June 7, 1930 in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late James Harrison and Carrie Morgan Timms, and graduated from Williamston High School. She was a Bank Teller at Bank of Belton for many years. Her greatest joy in her life were the things of God and His church, her wonderful family and the times of travel she shared with her husband before his home going. She also enjoyed writing poetry.
Surviving are her step daughters, Colleen Lovell of Honea Path, Judy Richey of Anderson, Mary Knight of Belton, Nancy Hedgepath of Estes Park, CO, Patti Lusk and husband Scott of Belton; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her brothers, Troy, Donnie, Walter, Clyde and Delbert Timms, her sisters, Lois Boiter, Mary Heller, Nora Martin, Hattie Ruth Shirley, and Thelma Rice.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM from the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
