Agnes Louise Rowland McCoy, 86, widow of the late William David “Bill” McCoy, died Sunday June 28, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 28, 1934 in Anderson County to the late Robert Grover “Runt” and Willie Estelle Fields Rowland, she graduated from Belton High School and worked in textiles as a weaver.
She attended Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Richard McCoy and Keith McCoy (Julia) all of Belton; her grandchildren, Kelly McCoy, Chase McCoy (Brooke), and Kayse McCoy Ragsdale (Ryan); 3 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Elaine McCoy, a grandson, Brandon “Big B” McCoy, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Evans officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 at the funeral home.
