Andy "AJ" Justus Holland

Andy “A.J.” Justus Holland, 89, widower of the late Earnestine Tribble Holland, resident of the Cheddar Community, entered into rest Sunday January 29, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Anderson.

Born on August 23, 1933 in Anderson County to the late Pete and Pearl Martin Holland, he was a graduate of Williamston High School. Andy was a retired truck driver.

He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Michael Anthony “Mike” Holland of the home and long time companion, Robbie Rogers of Pelzer; his fur babies, Evo the dog and Binx the cat. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by a brother, David Holland and a sister, Betty Patterson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

The family is at the home and flowers are accepted.
