Barbara (Martin) Meeks

Barbara Martin Meeks, 77, widow of the late Mack Henry Meeks, resident of Timberlane Dr., entered into rest Saturday May 6, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on October 17, 1945 in Florence to the late Henry Grady Martin and the late Grace Turner Martin Cox, she was a graduate of T.L. Hannah High School. She operated a daycare for many years, she most recently worked for Ingles. She loved children and pets.

Surviving is her son, Matthew Brandon Meeks of Belton; her brother, Grady Martin of Anderson; her granddaughter, Kyra Ryne Meeks of Honea Path. She was predeceased by her step-father, George W. Cox.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Michael Hanley officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday Evening from 6 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
