Bessie Mae Evans Clark, 84, wife of Franklin (Frank) E. Clark, formerly of Belton, died Saturday, August 4, 2023, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born in Belton, she was the daughter of the late Arbe and Margie Dickerson Evans Sr. She was a member of the Latimer Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving is daughter, Beth Cook (Shawn) of Belton; grandchildren, Paige Shaw (Justin), Shawna, Seth, Noah, and Caleb Cook; one great grandchild, Raelynn Shaw; sister, Peggy Lowie (Milford) of Belton; nieces, Landis Riddle (Jon), and Teresa Lowie, nephew; James Lowie (Tracy), one great niece and seven great nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, James Logan Evans, Dewey Evans, Billy Evans, Arbe Evans Jr and sisters, Sudie Bell Evans, Mary Lou Evans, and Bonnie Lee Evans.
There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Belton Pentecostal Holiness Church in memory of Bessie Clark.
The family will be at the home of Bessie Clark at 105 Brookforest Dr Belton.
