Belton
Betty Lee Hembree Lollis, 85, widow of the late Billy Ray Lollis, resident of Sherwood Dr., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 4, 1936 in Anderson County to the late Roy Lee and Laura Lee Craft Hembree, she was married to Billy Ray for 66 wonderful years. She retired from Blair Mills, Inc. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Danny Lollis and wife Cathy, Wayne Lollis and wife Heather, all of Belton, Sherry Fuller and husband John of Honea Path; her grandchildren, Tony Lollis, Dusty Lollis (Heather), Adam Lollis (Jessica), Kayla Lollis Thomas, Matthew Fields, Caleb Hilley (Taylor), Casey Ashley, and Cody Lollis; 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Ranny Lollis, 2 grandchildren, Amanda Fields and Jason Lollis, 2 sisters, Carolyn Swink and Bobbie Huskey.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Belton City Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Danny and Cathy Lollis, 724 Lamar Mitchell Rd. Belton, and will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
