Bonnie “Tinsy” Raglin Campbell, 86, widow of the late James “Bud” Campbell, resident of Campbell Road, died Tuesday August 31, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 7, 1935 in Idabel , OK to the late Thomas Earl and Mary Ellen Hilton Raglin, she was a high school graduate and retired from Peerless as a Quality Control Inspector.
Bonnie often said that the two things she was the best at, was cleaning house and cooking, she was the greatest mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cook of all time.
A member of Second Baptist Church, she was active in the Shirley Ellison Sunday School Class.
Surviving are her daughters, Sara Whitt and husband Danny, Mary Lollis and husband Wayne all of Belton; her grandchildren, Thomas “Tommy” Lollis, Dana Knotts, James “Jamie” Lollis, and Deanna Ellis; 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 6 sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family as well as the longest living member.
Memorial services will be conducted Thursday from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alden Ellis officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the church of one’s choice.
