Cecil Woodson Holliday, 97, widower of the late Bessie Ruth Campbell Holliday, resident of Lickville Road, died Saturday February 5, 2022 at Carlyle Senior Care of Fountian Inn.
Born on December 10, 1924 in Greenville County to the late Charlie Q and Hettie Bell Woodson Holliday, he graduated from West Dunklin High School and served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from Duke Energy as a supervisor at the Lee Steam Plant.
He was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Teresa Dunlap and husband Rodney of Belton; his sister Shelby Jean Poore; his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Sally Louise Cooley.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 15th at 2:00 PM from Cedar Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Donald officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday February 15th from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the church.
Due to Covid-19 family request that CDC guidelines be observed and mask be worn.
