Christopher Robert Hanks

Christopher Robert Hanks, 60, resident of Trail Road, died suddenly Tuesday February 2, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Anderson May 13, 1960 to Betty Hawkins Hanks and the late Harris E Hanks, he was a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a former volunteer firefighter with Craytonville Fire Department.

Surviving other than his mother of the home, are his brother, Brent S Hanks and wife Dana of Belton; his nephew, Justin Freeman and wife Kaley of Belton; his niece, Donna Lynn Hanks and Lucas Brown of Belton; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Edmunds officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Honea Path.

The family is at the home.
