Bishop Donnie Carlton Bell, 74, husband of Linda Jennings Bell for 57 years, of 813 Crawford Rd. died Friday, July 5th at his residence.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Edgar Bell and Opal Posey Lloyd. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy of Greenwood. He was a minster for 46 years with Church of God of Prophecy and he was a US Navy Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: sons, Teddy C. Bell, Bucky Bell (June) all of Belton; daughter, Tracy Gilreath (Freddy) of Belton; brothers, Jack Bell (Marlene) of MA, Lane Bell (Elaine) of Belton, and Steve Lloyd of Anderson, and Sheryl Bell of MA; grandchildren, Blake, Trevor, Kelsey (Jeremy), Katelyn (Gene), Mckenzie (Brandon), Ella, Lilly, and Langley; great grandchildren, Callaway, Melea, Maybree, and Jameson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Renee Bell.
Service will be held 2pm Tuesday at Belton Church of God with Pastor Barry Manley, Ron Hutchings, Pastor Robbie Brissey, and Pastor Norman Black officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Monday at Cox Funeral Home.
The family will be at the residence.
