Donnie Randal Smith, 73, widower of the late Shirley Blanton Smith, resident of Breazeale Street, died Thursday December 23, 2021 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 27, 1948 to Lillian Smith Hicks, he was a gas station attendant most of his life and enjoyed sitting in front of the BP people watching.

He was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his daughter, Dana Tribble and husband Randy of Belton; his grandchildren, Cody Blake Reece, Jessica Delane Crook, and Brooklyn Griffin; his sisters, Lisa Kelly, Lori Cox, and Beth Isom. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Michael Perry Smith and Donnie Randal Smith, Jr., 1 brother, Terry Hicks.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Dr.  David Cox officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church.
