Eddie Jerald Coker

Eddie Jerald Coker, 83, husband of Patricia Ann Ruff Coker of Rushton Rd. died February 15, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Belton, he was the son of the late Claude Leman and Mellie Jennings Coker. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Hamilton Lodge #403 A.F.M.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: sons, Michael Hughey of Wilmington, NC, Marc Hughey, and Charles Hughey all of Belton; brother, Steve Coker of Honea Path; sister, Joyce Hill of Anderson; grandchildren, Kinsey and Breanna Hughey.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger and Danny Coker.

Service will be held 3pm Wednesday at Cox funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Fouseke officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 1:45pm until 2:45pm at Cox Funeral Home.

Burial will be at 10:30am Thursday at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
