Elbert Junior Davis, 82, widower of the late Judy Drake Davis, resident of White Flag Dr., died Friday February 26, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Anderson on April 19, 1938 to the late Sammy and Lula Mae Chandler Davis, he was a high school graduate and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, he was a retired Pipe Fitter.
He was a member of Bethany World Outreach.
Surviving are his children, Paula Rowe of Greenwood, April Brown, Dana King, Bobby Davis all of Honea Path, and David Major of Belton; his brother, Woodrow Davis of Belton; his sisters, Barbara Summers of Williamston, Peggy Highland of Ohio, and Gloria Moon of Belton; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a great grandson, Michael E Smith III, a sister, Nancy Kimball, a niece, Kristie Green, and a daughter in law, Ella Ruth Phillips Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM from Bethany World Outreach with Rev. Ricky Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery with military honors.
The family is at the home of his son, Bobby Davis, 4039 Hwy 252, and will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bryson Cook, Cain Brown, Zack Brown, Nick Major, Andrew Major, and Jessica Stewart.
