Elenore “Claudette” Singleton Reeves, 84, widow of the late Earl Dendy Reeves, resident of Forest Lane, entered into rest Monday November 28, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 12, 1938 in Belton to the late George and Maude Hays Singleton, she attended Belton High School, she was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Richard Earl Reeves of the home, George Randall “Randy” Reeves and wife Tina of Donalds, and William “Stacey” Reeves and wife Cathy of Honea Path; her grandchildren, Christina McClinton (Thomas), Caitlin Reeves (Will Dyal), Amber Nicole Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Austin Reeves, and Skylar Reeves; her “adopted grandchildren”, Matthew Stewart, Anthony Stewart, T.J. Rhodes, and Brittany Parnell; 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Rachel Gentry.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Tommy McClinton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
