Belton
Elizabeth Faye Sheriff Shirley, 84, dedicated and loving wife of 50 years to the late Ray Donald Shirley of Belton, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her residents.
Born in Oconee County October 21, 1938, to the late Furmar Durell and Mattie Cormelia Brock Sheriff. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, (Tony) Anthony Shirley (Kathy) of Belton, Stan Shirley (Susie) of Belton; grandchildren, Bela Shirley, Brittany “Mukie” Wright (Josh), Justin Shirley (Kandas); great grands, Axel and Easton Wright, Madison Shirley, Baileigh Brown, Candice Rodriguez Jacome, Kayti Shirley, Austin and Alexis Shirley; 10 great great grands; Special friend Ginger Alewine. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased in death by grandson, Chase Shirley; granddaughter, Tonya Shirley; and great grandson Austin Shirley.
Graveside service will be 11 am Tuesday September 5, 2023, at Garden of Memories with Rev. Dr. David Cox and Rev. Mike Moody officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Monday September 4, 2023, at Cox Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
The family will be at the residence.
