Gerald Emree Carpenter, 83, husband of Jill Carpenter, died Saturday, January 14, 2023, at AnMed Health Center.
Born on May 30, 1939 in Asheville, NC, to the late George and Dora Carpenter, he served 22 years in the Navy as well as 20 years of civil service.
Surviving in addition to the wife of the home, son; William Carpenter, brother; George Carpenter, sister; Sandra Jay, nephews; Justin and Richard, niece; Sara and Josephine; his beloved aunt Pat, also many cousins and extended family.
Funeral Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Cox Funeral Home.
