Geraldine Stevenson Getsinger, 85, widow of the late William “Bill” Harrison Getsinger, resident of S. Wingate Rd., went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, December 6, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 24, 1936 in Belton to the late Joel and Ella Mae Stevenson, she was born in the Stevenson House on Stevenson Drive. She married Bill at age 17 and was a wonderful homemaker.

She was a faithful lifetime member of Belton Church of God.

Surviving are her children, Joe William Getsinger and wife Debbie of Shelby, NC, Richard Harrison Getsinger and wife Marie of Belton, Harold Dean Getsinger and wife Pamela of Belton, and Gerald Ann Getsinger Evatt and husband Randy Andrews of Greenville; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Martha Stevenson Rice and her brothers, Macky Ray Stevenson and J.B. Stevenson.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday December 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Belton Church of God with Rev. Norman Black officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the Church. The remains will be placed in the church at Noon.
