Helen Louise Stanton Gambrell, 83, resident of E. Hampton Street, died Friday December 24, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on December 18, 1938 in Williamston to the late Henry Milledge and Elise Mae Cochran Stanton, she was retired from textiles.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are her children, Nancy Gail Hix of Belton, Brenda Elaine Jones of Anderson, Sandra Denise Hobbs of Belton, and Lisa Michelle Gambrell of Spartanburg; a granddaughter raised in the home, Miranda B. Visintainer (Nicholas) of Simpsonville; 4 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Casey Gwen Underwood, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Roger Burden officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
