Ira Luther Alewine, 71, husband of Lynda Bagwell Alewine, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Prisma Health.

Born May 06, 1949 in Belton to the late Wilford and Daisy Mae Brock Alewine, he managed his own plumbing business.

He was a member at Grace Baptist Church in Honea Path, SC.

Surviving other than his wife of 36 years of the home, are his son Wayne (Heidi) Alewine of Pickens, Daughter, Brandy (Jonathan) Kinsey of North Carolina. Angel daughter, Holly (Corey) Langston of Belton, Angel son, Tyler Jordan of Nashville. 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. 2 sisters, Cathy Alewine and Nancy Ann (Fred) Brown, 3 loving pets Katie, Ralphie, and Thor. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Cecil and Floyd Alewine, sister Hazel Brock.

Gathering of Friends will be at Cox Funeral Home on Saturday January 16 from 6 to 8.
