James “Tommy” Thomas King, 66, resident of Breazeale St., died Thursday November 4, 2021 at his residence.
Born on November 18, 1954 in Anderson County to the late James Russell and Faye Herrin King. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a Carpenter and served as a Police Officer.
He was a member of the American Legion. He loved riding his Harley. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are his children, Angela “Angie” Powell (Barry) of Belton, Jason King (Whitney) of Charleston, and Brandon King (Brittani) of Belton; his grandchildren, Nathan Powell, Connor Powell, and Evelyn King; his sister, Janis Davis; his brother, Donnie King. He was predeceased by a son, Braden Bratcher.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11AM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Black officiating. Burial will be at a later date at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Brandon King and will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted and memorials may be made to the Patriot Guard.
