James Alan Manning, 83, husband of Maria Valle Manning, resident of Glenwood Street Ext., died Monday November 28, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on August 9, 1938 in Menominee WI to the late John Henry and Eva Slininger Manning, he graduated from Boyceville High School and served in Fighter Squadron 142 of the United States Navy. He was self employed.
He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years of the home, his daughters, Iris Villegas Crosby(Ernest) of Simpsonville, and Rhonda Manning of Winston OR; his son’s, Julio Cesar Villegas (Amanda), and Jose Pedroza, all of Belton; 2 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughters, Robin Decker and Rene Manning, and 1 brother.
Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM from the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Norman Black officiating.
