James Franklin Page, 84, husband of Edna “Sue” Owens Page, died Sunday January 10, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 28, 1936 in Honea Path to the late James Abner and Nettie Henderson Page, he was a veteran of the United States Navy, he retired from Cryovac and went to work for Afco for 10 more years. James was a private pilot, and best known for his outboard motor work at Page’s Marine Services for over 50 years.
He was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God in Williamston, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving other than his wife of 64 years of the home, are his sons, James “Rickey” Page and “Wendell” Franklin Page both of Belton; his grandson, Kevin Wendell Page and wife Lindsey of Belton; his brothers, Tony Page and wife Linda, and Ronnie Page and wife Kristen; 2 great grandchildren, Avery James and Ella Clare Page. He was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Adam Page, a daughter in law, Nancy Lane Page, and 3 sisters, Lula Mae Bagwell Sloan, Edna Myers, and Betty Jean Page.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Rowland Johnson and Rev. Michael Hanley officiating.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is required.
