Jay Cee Brown

Jay Cee Brown, 41, resident of Breazeale St., died Friday March 6, 2020 at his residence.

Born October 31, 1978 in Anderson to Jimmy Carlton Brown, Jr. and Cynthia Marie Fisher Janssen, he worked most of his life in construction. He was a member of Alive Pleasant View Wesleyan Church.

Surviving other than his parents and his step father, Carl Janssen, are his sons, Ethen Brown of Honea Path and Jayden Brown of Donalds; his brothers, Thomas “TJ” Brown (Julie) of Belton, Brandon Brown (April) of Central, Jimmy Brown (Kristin) of Honea Path, and C.J. Brown of Abbeville; his fraternal grandfather Jimmy Carlton Brown, Sr. of Belton; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his fraternal grandmother, Sue Brown, his maternal grandparents, Doc and Lois Fisher, and his uncle, Chris Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Fields officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rodgers Rd. Anderson, SC 29621.
