Belton
Jewell King Arflin, 87, widow of the late Harold Edward Arflin, resident of Springdale Drive, entered into eternal rest Saturday April 30, 2022 at NHC Anderson.
Born on August 28, 1934 in Belton to the late John Thomas and Beulah Owens King, she attended Belton schools, she retired from Milliken.
She was a member of Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.
She grew up Pentecostal and attended Cornerstone Pentecostal Community Church.
Surviving are her son, Chris Jeanes and wife Trenia of Belton; her grandchildren, Kirsten Jeanes and Fiancé Zack Baldwin of Belton, and Keli Wilson and husband Scott of Starr; her great granddaughter Serra Wilson of Starr. She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Campbell, her brothers, Jake T King, Harold King, Carl King, Larry King, twin brother Gerald King, and Wando King.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of Chris and Trenia Jeanes, and will receive friends Wednesday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
