John Lankford Minor, Sr.

John Lankford Minor, Sr., 78, widower of Beatrice Standard of Anderson County died Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late John and Opal Pearl Adams Minor. He was a member of Rocky River Church of God.

Surviving are: daughters, Jackie Durbin of Anderson and Felisha Minor Lasseter of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sons, John Craig Minor of Pendleton, John Lankford Minor, Jr., Christopher James Minor and Shannon Travis Minor all of Anderson; brother, Walter “Pete” Minor of Santee Cooper, SC; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Caroline Minor Pope and sisters, Irene Clamp and Sadie Minor.

Graveside service will be held at 3pm at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
