Kenneth Larry McCullough, 69, resident of Paradise Point, died Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Anderson on May 26, 1951 to the late James Roy and Margaret Crawford McCullough, he graduated from Belton-Honea Path High School and was a Truck Driver for many years.
He was a Master Mason in Cheddar Lodge which has merged with Hamilton Lodge #403 A. F. M. for 47 years, he served in the South Carolina National Guard for 4 years, and was a member of the Belton Rescue Squad Dive Team winning a National Dive Competition. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Belton.
He lived a full life and enjoyed fishing, old westerns, and especially his grand babies.
Surviving are his son, Brent McCullough of Charleston, his daughter, Courtnie McCullough Black (Brandon) of Honea Path; his granddaughters, Olivia and Camryn Black, Riley McCullough, and Kirsten McCullough Cooper (Steven); his loving companion of many years, Gearldine Morton; a special uncle, Frank McCullough of Belton.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating.
The family is at the home of Courtnie and Brandon Black. No formal visitation will be held.
Flowers are optional and the family wishes for memorials to be made to Gethsemane Baptist Temple, P. O. Box 13228 Anderson , SC 29622 or to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 950 W Faris Rd. Greenville SC 29605.
