 Larry Dean Cowart, 78, husband of Linda Smith Cowart, resident of Kings Road, died Tuesday May 11, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center. 

Born on May 26, 1942 in Abbeville County to the late Furman and Ethel Burton Cowart, he worked many years in textiles and retired from Wells Aluminum. Larry was known as a kindhearted man that enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. 

He was a member of Eastview Baptist Church. 

Surviving other than his loving wife of 58 years, of the home, are his daughter in law, Mandy Craft Cowart of Belton; his grandchildren, Morgan Cowart Parker (Joel) of Honea Path, and Michael Blake Cowart of Belton; his sister, Bobbi Smith of Royston GA. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Larry Cowart, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. 

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday May 13th at 4:00 PM  from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Dr. Curt Mitchell officiating. 

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Eastview Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 456, Belton SC 29627.
