Lester Maree Orvin, 87, husband of Bobbie Darby Orvin, resident of Clary Dr., died Sunday October 10, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on October 3, 1934 in Berkeley County, SC to the late Steadman Andrew and Daisy Henrietta Wadford Orvin, he was a high school graduate and attended Forest Junior College. He was an owner of Mr.& Ms. Fashion in Belton for 34 years and an avid golfer.
He attended River of Life for 27 years and had started attending Belton Church of God until his health no longer allowed him to. He was a member of the Belton Lions Club.
Surviving other than his wife of 58 years, of the home, are his brother Ted Orvin of Gaston; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lee, Ray, Charlie, and Rev. Hubert Orvin; his sisters, Aileen, Christine, and Susie Orvin, and Ruth Leopard; nephews, Perry, Steve, and Albert Orvin.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Black, Rev. Eric Boggs, and Rev. Dale Dyar officiating. A private burial will take place on Thursday at the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
