Linda Faye Cummings Jefferson, 79, widow of the late John Jefferson, resident of Standpipe Ct., entered into rest Monday January 2, 2023 at Greer Post Acute.

Born on September 8, 1943 in Anderson to the late James Robert and Lucille Hanley Cummings. She was a seamstress for many years and retired from Rice Mills.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her son, John Gregory Jefferson and wife Margaret of Anderson; her sister, Shirley Phillips of Anderson; her granddaughters, Sarah Jefferson, Gabbie Jefferson, Crissy Brown, and Marie Jefferson; 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Randy Jefferson.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dale Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
