Mrs. Linda Dunlap Wood, 76, wife of Arthur D. Wood Jr., resident of Beckwith Lane, Belton died Friday, February 25, 2022, at Dominion Senior Living in Anderson.

Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ray and Elise Brown Dunlap. She was a retired employee of AnMed Health Lifeline and a former customer service representative at South Carolina National Bank, Belton.

She was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church Belton.

Surviving other than her husband of 56 years, of the home, are her children Dodd (Tammy) Wood of Belton, and Amy (Matt) McCoy of Anderson; a brother Bill (Shelba) Dunlap, a sister Carolyn (Roy Mac) Haggard; her grandchildren, Dodson Wood, Emily Wood, Thomas Hawkins, and Alise Hawkins. She was predeceased by brother Jerry Dunlap.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM from Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Green officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until the hour of service at the chapel.

Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Belton.

Cox Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
