Louis Clifton Acker

Louis Clifton Acker, 83, widower of Lottie Jean Porter Acker of 2925 Shady Grove Rd. died Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Honea Path, he was the son of the late Walter and Virginia Jordan Acker. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a US Navy Veteran.

Surviving are: daughter, Renee Acker Craddock ( Jeffery Craddock, MD) of Tigerville;sister, Barbara Treadwell;  grandchildren, Ryan Craddock, Kevin Welborn (Candace), Rebecca Craddock, Camille Craddock; great grandchild, Jackson Welborn.

He was preceded in death by his son Craig Acker and sister, Martha McHugh.

Service will be held 11am Friday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Daryl Hawthorne officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 10am until 10:45am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Soapstone Baptist Church @ 296 Liberia Rd. Pickens, SC 29671.

The family will be at the residence.
