Belton
Louis Mancini, 82, husband of Judith Bannister Mancini, resident of South Main Street, entered into rest Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at NHC- Anderson.
Born on August 18, 1940 in New York, NY to the late Louis and Linda Ricci Mancini, he was awarded his honorary BS in Engineering, and was a retired Research Engineer. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1958 until 1962. He was an avid gun collector and woodworker. He earned the Distinguished Master Pistol Shooter award.
He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Belton Gun Club, Life member of the NRA, Past President of the SC Arms Collectors, Life member of the NC Arms Collectors, member of Alabama and Georgia Arms Collectors.
Surviving is his wife of 61 years, of the home, his daughters, Karen Mancini Carwile, and Dawn Mancini Mulligan and husband Patrick, all of Belton; his brother, Dennis Mancini and wife Terri of Belton, his grandchildren, Seth Matthew Wright and Regan Marie Carwile.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Seth Wright officiating.
The family is at the home.
