Mr. Marion “Nick” Cornelius Nickles
Mr. Marion “Nick” Cornelius Nickles, 86, husband of Yvonne Jannette (nee Strickland) Nickles, of 100 Covey Hill Ct. died November 06, 2021 at Prisma Health Hospital.
Born in Greenwood Co., he was the son of the late Richard and Mamie (nee McEver) Nickles. He was self-employed and retired from the company he founded, Nickles Controls, and a member of First Baptist Church of Belton.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne, 3 sons Marion (Pamela) Nickles Jr of Belton, Dr Daniel Nickles of Greenville, and Dr David (Seiko) Nickles of Honolulu, 6 grandchildren William, Adam, Delayne, Daniel-Adam, James, and Chloe, and special granddog Merlin. He was a graduate of the first class of Palmetto High School in Williamston.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 pm at Belton City Cemetery with Dr Daniel Nickles eulogizing. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at The Venue, 1344 N Pleasantburg Dr, Greenville.
Flowers will be accepted.
