Marshall Earl Keaton, Jr., 74, husband of Shirley Babb Keaton, resident of Anderson St., died Tuesday January 12, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 8, 1946 in Anderson County to the late Marshall Earl Sr., and Gaynelle Busbin Keaton, he was a graduate of T.L. Hannah High School and served in the South Carolina National Guard as a Communications Operator for 7 years and obtained the rank of Sergeant. Marshall was an electrician and worked in construction most of his life.
He was a former member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and currently a media member of Shepherd’s Chapel of Gravette, AR.
Surviving other than his wife of 41 years, of the home, are his children, Marshall Brian Keaton of Honea Path, and Sharon Keaton Bradley and husband Shane of Due West; his grandchildren, Nicole Allen and husband Jim, Rebecca Keaton, Sloan Bradley, and Sadie Bradley; his sister, Susan Strickland of Belton; 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter in law, Kristi Keaton.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
