Martha “Jane” Schronce Gillespie, 68, wife of Charles Dean Gillespie died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Ezell M. and Mary Virginia Duncan Schronce. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she previously taught Agape Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: daughters, Cristie Guest (Michael) of Honea Path, and Deana Cox (Bryan) of Greenwood; brothers, David Schronce (Maria), Arthur Schronce (Sharon), and Allen Schronce (Charrish); sister in law, Frances Schronce; grandchildren, Andrew Guest, Zachary Cox, Daniel Guest, Caleb Guest, and Abigail Cox; and too many friends, cousins, and nieces and nephews to name. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Schronce and sister, Mary Schronce. Service will be held 2pm Wednesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Bryan Cox and Rev. Billy Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence.
