Nancy Cole Parnell, 82, widow of the late John Aubrey “Bud” Parnell, resident of Lowe St., died Friday September 4, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born April 27, 1938 in Cross Hill to the late Mason and Lois Reeder Cole, she was a Registered Nurse for many years.
She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Crain of Belton; her granddaughters, Christy Crain of Belton, and Tara Tompkins (Matthew) of Pelzer; her great grandchildren, Cayden Burdette, Fischer Brock, Halle and Hunter Tompkins; her nieces, Pam Wilson (Ernie), and Gayle Hickox (Mark). She was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Cantrell and a brother, Joseph Cole.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 PM from the Garden of Memories with Rev. Roger Couch officiating.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
