Nathalee Nabors Culbertson, 83, widow of the late Joe E Culbertson, resident of Simpson Road, died Monday March 15, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Piedmont on August 16, 1937 to the late Melvin Lee and Vaudalea Frady Nabors, she obtained her GED. She retired from Miliken, Honea Path plant where she was a Quality Control Inspector for over 30 years.
She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she was active in WMU and the Baptist Association Messenger.
Surviving are her children, Cellie Ross Scott (Carroll) of Belton, Thomas Carroll Ross of Honea Path, Melvin “Ray” Ross and Jimmy Darrell Ross (Cindy) all of Belton; her grandchildren, Justin Scott (Paula), Kevin Ross (Heather), and Austin Ross; her step grandchildren, Wayne Rosado (Lisa), Matthew Rosado, Lee Rosado, Melanie Campbell (Scott), Leslie Lemmons, and Joe Culbertson; 6 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 step children, Debra Rosado and Eddie Culbertson, 2 brothers, Robert “Sam” Nabors and Buddy Nabors.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM from Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
