Norma Jean King Rogers, 83, widow of Roy Cleveland Rogers, formerly of Belton, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Clyde and Margaret Autry King and was a member of Second Baptist of Belton.
Surviving are: son, Roy Keith Rogers of Greenville; daughter, Margaret Michelle Rogers (Gary) of Anderson; brothers, Roger King (Shirley) of Belton, Bennie King (Ellen) of Anderson; sisters, Sylvia King of Belton, Janie Jordan (Thomas) of Seneca. Grandchildren, Brennon Rogers of Japan, Kelsie Hoilien (Brandon) N.C.; great-grandchildren, Colton, Brody, Raylan Vaughn, and Emma Hoilien.
She was preceded in death by a brother Larry King.
Service will be held at 11am Friday October 27, 2023, at Second Baptist Church Belton with Rev. Dewight Green and pastor Jonathan Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow at Belton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to service Friday from 9:45am until 10:45am at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Second Baptist Church or Hospice of the Upstate.
The family will be at their respective homes.
