Peggy Wilson Bratcher, 83, wife of Gerald Bratcher, resident of Bratcher Road, entered into rest Tuesday February 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 25, 1939 in Anderson County to the late Wyatt L. and Sara Maddox Wilson, she was a graduate of Honea Path High School and worked at AnMed Health in the EKG department for 27 years.
She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving other than her loving husband of 64 years, of the home, is her daughter, Wendy Bratcher Campbell of Honea Path; her sister, Evelyn Wilson Jarrett and husband Donnie of Anderson; her grandchildren, Matthew B Campbell, Andrew K Campbell, and Kelly B Campbell all of Honea Path. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy W Finley, and brothers, Marion Wilson and Melvin Wilson, Sr., her son-in-law, Bryan K Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 PM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Edmonds and Rev. Dewayne Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
