Richard "Hoss" Wilson

Richard “Hoss” Wilson, 75, husband of Shirley McMahan Wilson of 57 years, died Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Hospice of the Upstate.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Gary D. and Meleeda Banister Wilson. He attended Belton Church of God and was a manager for Coca Cola.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: sons, Richard Todd Wilson and wife Melissa of Williamston, and Bryan Daniel Wilson of Belton; sister, Elaine Wilson of Greenville; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Wilson.

Graveside service will be held at 2pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Norman Black and Rev. Mike Hawkins officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Belton Church of God.

The family will be at the home.
