Rodney Dwayne Lawson, 60, resident of O’Neal St., entered into rest Monday June 27, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown.
Born on June 15, 1962 in Spartanburg County to the late Clyde Jr.,”Buster” and Peggy Harrison Lawson, he held an Associates Degree in Funeral Services, he was a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Cox Funeral Home for many years.
He was a member and Past Master of Enoree Lodge #222 A.F.M., and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving other than his fiancé Stephanie Henry of the home; his sons, R. Blake Lawson and wife Kayla of Moore, Garrett Lawson and wife Kasie of Enoree; his sister, Jill Hennett (James Cain) of Enoree; his grandchildren, Natalie Lawson, Noah Lawson, and Cheyenne McClellan; his nieces, Jami Graddy, and Julie “Jules” Watson; his nephew, Jake Hennett and wife Kati of Enoree, Jacob Graddy, Joseph Ross, and Jackson Watson; his great nephews, Cameron and Easton Hennett. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Reagan Lawson.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
