Belton
Ronnie Houston Kelly, 66, husband of Judy McCoig Kelly, resident of Hwy. 247, went home to be with his Heavenly Father Friday April 16, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on May 30, 1954 in Belton to the late Robert Houston and Peggy Farmer Kelly. He worked in grocery stores, and was also a past owner of Shell Station. He was just a good ol’ country boy.
He attended Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving other than his wife of 50 years, of the home, are his daughters, Billie Jo Russell of Honea Path, and Julie Ann Kelly of Belton; his grandchildren, Alisha Russell and Kayden Kelly; his sister, Rhonda Hill; his brother, Mike Kelly; his step-sisters Debra Johnson, Tona George, Patricia Shelley, Janice Tsangarides, Rachel Winker; his step-brother Lee Tucker. He was predeceased by a sister, Donna Kay Hipp.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM from Belton Church of God with Rev. Norman Black officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Billie Jo, 704 Simpson Rd. Honea Path, and will receive friends from 1:00 until the hour of service at the church.
