Sara Stroud Obituary

Sara Louise Knight Stroud, 73, of 212 Crawford St. passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Bailey and Mattie Woodson Knight.

Surviving are: sons, William Erwin (Lisa) of Anderson, and Russell Stroud (Kim) of Williamston; sisters, Frances Trotter and Jean Stroud both of Williamston, Betty Madden of Belton, and Margaret Stroud of Anderson; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Private graveside service will be held at 10am Tuesday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ralph James officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday at the cemetery.

Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.

The family will be at the residence.
