Sheran Elaine Gurley Fisher, 71, wife of Douglas M Fisher, resident of Edgewood Dr., died Monday August 3, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born October 16, 1948 in Anderson County to the late James Edward, Sr. and Essie Elaine Fields Gurley, she worked as Twister in Textiles for many years.
She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church.
Surviving other than her loving husband of 55 years, of the home, are a brother, James Edward Gurley,Jr. and wife Pat of Belton; 3 nieces, 5 nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Stevie Wallace Gurley.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of a niece, Dana Hanks, 1639 Broadway School Road, and will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted and memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
